A5 date and value?

Hello guys I am looking for any information I can get.
I just bought a browning A5 from my father. It ia a 16 ga 2.75" solid rib with what appears to be a factory installed poly choke.
The finish is about 98 and the forearm is about a 98 and the stock is probably a 90 A couple scratches, small ones. The serial# X3272.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

    No way we can help you, with either. Need quality photos and you have put the "X" on the wrong side of the serial number. That said, not likely the poly choke is factory.

    EDIT #1, Quality photos so that it can be valued. Not familiar with a serial number that has a "X" in front of it, on Brownings?

    The bottom of the gun just above the loading port it has an oval with FN inside it. Below that it has X3272, I put the x where they put the x. I will put photos on tomorrow morning after I get off work.

    I was told that there was a company or gunshop in Missouri that put some of the poly chokes on for browning, not factory but before it was ever sold. Any truth to that.

    Where would you like me to take pics of so I get you what you need to help me.

    The "X" prefix was used on the 16-ga Auto-5 shotguns starting in late 1948 or early 1949, and was used until 1958. I suspect that serial number "X3272" is a 1949 vintage gun.

    WOW, This is the NEW method? Im a member of several different forums and I have never seen anything this involved just to post photos.

    Might be quicker to build a time machine and just ask ole John M Browning himself.

    But seriously, I'll get them on here this evening. Thanks for the help Bert.
