Does Glock make a short frame 17 or 19?
My ife is small statured with smaller size hands. Does Glock make a "Short frame" pistol in 9mm. The 17 or 19.

The Gen 4 Glocks have interchangeable backstraps.
Large = larger than Gen 3
Medium = same as Gen 3
Small (bare gun, no separate backstrap) = smaller than Gen 3.0 -
If you can obtain one of the newer versions with the interchangeable backstraps that will fit her hand, have her test fire it if at all possible. Some folks find the factory stock Glocks that come with lawyer proof triggers difficult to operate. If she likes the gun but finds the trigger difficult, it's possible to reduce the trigger pull by substituting a "3 1/2 LB connector" for the lawyer proof connector that normally comes with factory stock Glocks. 0 -
I am not sure what you are asking, but the shortest framed Glock in 9mm is the model 26. If you are talking about the girth of the frame, it is the same as he 17, and 19. You might want to try the Springfield XD, as it might be smaller in that respect.

Frame sizes on 17 and 19 are the same, and they only come in one version.
The Gen 4 version has some adjustment to the grips, but its not all that much and only makes the grip shorter front to back, not narrower side to size. See here:
Definitely worth a look, since these guns are easy to find anywhere.
If you love the Glock platform, there are aftermarket frames available that are manufactured to basically the minimum size where mags will still fit, and these should fit small handed individuals:
This is one version from Lone Wolf:
There are also custom pistolsmiths who will pare down a Glock frame to make it a little thinner, and also a little shorter (front to back):
