Anyone have any experience with the 4x4? Mainly interested in accuracy and reliability in the .300WSM caliber or whatever caliber you have experience with for this rifle.. Thanks.

My buddy has one in 30-06 and his is a tack driver. I was impressed with the groups it turned out. The new ones have the LBA adjustable trigger which is a spin off of the accutrigger. The older 4X4's have the standard factory set 8 pound trigger, but is does break clean with little creep or overtravel. The new ones also have a fluted barrel. I think they are fine for a "utility grade" hunting rifle.

For an entry level gun it isnt bad. We dont sell many though because I think the majority of folks see Mossberg as a shotgun maker now. For years their rimfire rifles were good shooters.
