Cartridge Headstamp Numbers

I have an antique 45 Colt round marked FA, 2, 11. I know the FA is Frankfort Arsenal but was wondering about the numbers. Does the 11 mean it was made in 1911 and what about the 2? Thank you in advance.

  well i guess it depends if it is a revolver round with a rim or a 45acp rimless???

  I assumed (bad news to assume, I guess)..that the poster would have said ACP, but said 45 Colt round instead.
