Winchester 3 Leaf Express Sight?
I inherited a large lot of firearms and parts. Among those is an original sight with a note saying "Winchester 1886 3 Leaf Express Sight? Can anyone tell me what model this sight went to? Will it fit the 1873, 1886, and 1894? What model was it commonly found on? Finally, what do you think the value for a rare sight like this would be? It retains decent bluing, no rust, all three leafs are intact a fold easily. Thanks.

The Winchester 3-leaf express sight was used on a number of different models, but it is most commonly found on the Model 1885 Sigle Shot and the Model 1894. It will fit on any Winchester with a 3/8" dovetail (which is almost all models). It is not a rare sight by any stretch of the imagination. In decent condition it is worth approximately $150, though if you sell it on e b a y, you might get twice that much, as there seemd to be a number of ignorant bidders there. 0
