  Parts are pretty easy to find. Dixie Gun Works should have them. Some fitting may be necessary but they're a pretty simple mechanism.

  Be careful of Italian replacement parts for an original period Percussion Colt. Only 2nd or 3rd generation Colt (Uberti made) parts are interchangable.
  Be especially wary of screws from the Italian replicas. They will not work because the threads are different (metric).
  For best results and some original parts contact coltparts.com. They are a bit pricey, but reliable and trustworthy.
