bushing insertion question

When you put the bushing into a Redding bushing sizing die, do you put the numbered side downward or upward? I have been putting it in with the numbered side up but now I have a friend telling me to put the numbered side downward....

  I'm guessing it doesn't matter, but call Redding. They have excellent customer support. Let us know what you find out.
