Gun value ?

A friend wants to sell me his guns and wants 225 for each gun.

The first one is 1917 Gewehr 98 Simson & Stuhl numbers do not match but in great shape.

The next one is a 1932 Finnish M/27 made by Tikkakoski in good shape but the numbers match.

Are they worth the money. If so which should i get.

    I have a makarov 9 x 18 made in 1966 with no import marks. It is in about 75% shape any ideas how much its worth? Thanks David

    I lent my kid my camera and she broke it again. LOL I think its russian made only thing i can read on it is 1966. It has a upside down u and a h right beside each other along with 7724 which i think is the serial number. Then it has a circle with a triangle. Then it has a circle with a triangle in it. Thanks David

    1966 Russian Mak with no import markings, might be a Viet Nam bring back. Lot of guns brought back from Nam weren't in the greatest condition, rice paddies and guns with blued finishes, didn't hit it off to well. Specially if they brought back on the sly without any paperwork.

    Guns that are 75% aren't usually considered collector quality. Exception might be made for what could very well be a Viet Nam bring back Mak.

    This is a VERY GENERAL answer...Any half-way decent Mak should bring at least $200. I have seen NICE ones go for $350 +. I find most of them to be be reliable and nice to shoot. I have a Russian one made for the Western Market in .380 It is actually my carry gun...I found an older El Paso pancake holster made for a PPK that fits perfect!
