I was hoping for something of a little better quality. Something that will work all the time. Not a bag of pulled mil surp blasters that "most won't light but some probably will" Unfortunately, that's all I can find on my own too.

Doesn't anyone currently manufacture these for civilian use? They make novelty shotgun ammo every day. Why not tracer rifle bullets?

Ya, I really should have used the green font... Are ya dead set on 55 grain bullets? Here's some new 64 grainers,

I have a 1:9 twist. I thought you needed a 1:7 to stabilize the 64grainers. I suppose bump firing just for fun won't matter if they stabilize or not though. [:D][:D] Thanks!!

Already found those. See my first post. They're pulled mil surp. Although they appear to be better quality than the ones for sale here. But they're the same price per 100 as the 64 grainers NeoBlackdog found and the 64 grainers are new.

I think you'll find that the 64's will stabilize fine with a 1:9 twist. IIRC 1:9 is pretty good up to 70 grain bullets, then you need to step up to 1:8 or 1:7.
    Good luck!

If the heavier bullets will work just buy new Federal ammo and skip the loading.

    Bump fire tracers for fun?
Are you aware tracers easily start fires?
Bullets ricochet all over the place unless you shoot into wooden backstops.
Try it at dusk in a gravel pit to convince yourself.
Our club will kick you out if caught using them.

I agree. That's the beauty of shooting on private property where there is nothing around to catch fire. The club I belong to prohibits shooting after dark with tracers or not.
