BSA V8 airgun questions...

Hello all, It has been a good few years since I last visited. I am going to be selling 20 some rifles for a client that wants to downsize his collection.

I have a BSA airgun that looks to be in nice condition. I have not found much info on it. Marked V8. Anyone know the caliber? We tried standard .177 BB's & they def look to be too small, they just roll out of the barrel. Guessing this is just a single shot?

There is a letter B & the serial is: T1465. I am looking for some guestimates on value, an idea on production date, anything that looks unusual or odd & just general info really. I am not an expert, I am just looking to list these guns accurately so any info is greatly appreciated!

  Your single shot BSA air rifle is the Standard Model, first variant, available in either .177 or .22 caliber and manufactured between 1919 and 1939 having serial numbers begining with either a "S" or "T", the "T" prefixed serial numbered air rifles being more collectible.

  Add 25% for "T" serial number prefix.
