Savage pump .22 questions...
Hello all, It has been a good few years since I last visited. I am going to be selling 20 some rifles for a client that wants to downsize his collection.
I have a Savage that looks to be just a shooter. We set up & did some target shooting on the property, seems to work just fine. Needs a cleaning for sure.
The serial is: 35.355. I am looking for some guestimates on value, an idea on production date, anything that looks unusual or odd & just general info really. I am not an expert, I am just looking to list these guns accurately so any info is greatly appreciated!
Thanks, Jonathan

You have a model of 1903. I believe it was superceded by the model of 1914. From your 2nd picture, it looks like it has been assembled incorrectly. The round tag should fit under the right side, not on top. I've seen them go for moderate coin on the auctions here in the past. The magazine (original) can be worth $$$.
Just my 2 cents worth.0 -

Thanks, I caught that about the round tab & corrected it. I appreciate your help!

I'm sure there is a dedicated site for Savage collectors (just can't find one at the moment) I have owned the same rifle for about 40 years. Mine always had feeding problems. Let me dig a little deeper and see if I can come with more info. Send me a PM please. 0 -

I sold a couple of those here about a year ago. I believe I got between $375-$450 for ours. 0 -

We took it out & did some target shooting on the property & we also had feed problems.... I originally thought it maybe had something to do with the shorts I was using, they seemed hard to load in the mag correctly. Will PM -thanks.
