44 special/magnum recipe needed

My cousin gave me some lead cast bullets for the 44 but I don't have a recipe for them.

265 grain semi wad cutters.

For my previous lead cast loads, I was using AA#7 for 44 special and AA#9 for magnum. However, there are no loads listed for this particular weight of bullet.

Anybody have any information?

  Search the internet for ".44 Magnum loads."

  8.4-9.0gr of Unique or 7.0-7.8gr of Green Dot, for 44mag.
  I found AA data for 240+300gr mag loads, And some for Special 250gr at www.handloads.com

  Don't load too many at a time.
  You may find recoil with these bullets is heavy and unpleasant in a handgun.
  I gave up on 250gr and over bullet weights in the 44 Mag and Spec. for that reason.
