Heard a story today that is hard to believe. I've shot a single shot 50 cal and my shoulder will never be the same! Can this piece be fired full auto from a bipod or should it be mounted on a duce & 1/2?

  The US military has a pintle mount that could be jury rigged so that it was just off the dirt. Never heard of a bipod mounted 50 though, anythings possible?

  You are forgetting the weight of a M2 50 cal machine gun First and second off, with this weapon it does not have a shoulder stock. You actually set behind the gun and it has thumb triggers at the very rear.

  Ma Deuce weighs in at a slender 85 pounds empty so shouldering the weapon is not likely to happen and there is no bi pod, the M2 HB uses a 45 pound tripod.
