Actuating Knob on BAR

Can't somebody please tell me how to remove the bolt operating knob of a Browning Auto Rifle in 270 cal. It looks like you just pull it out like most but need to know for sure as I don't want to break anything. Help.

  move the bolt sheild toward the front to expose the operating handle. with a small screwdriver gently pry up on the lever at the front of operating handle . op handle slides forward and off.
