    Suggest that you take just the trigger group to a hardware store and see it it doesn't have one, in stainless if possible.

    My guess is they will not any thing even close. Gun screws use a different thread than other common items. Forcing a screw on may work but it most likely will not be correct.

    The nut is a 1/4", so I'm assuming the threads are 8-32 or 10-32 10-32 and 3/16ths-32 are very close.

    As noted though, take the trigger group to the store and see what it is and if they have one. While you're there you might spend about $4-$6 and get a thread gauge.

    see if the hardware store has all those specilty boxes with non standard items mine has a whole isle that i go to regulary

    According to Brownell's book the trigger adjustment screw is threaded 6-48.
