    Italian military revolver from late 19th century, cal. 10.35 mm; used up until wwii. I think Fiochi may still make ammo for it.

    I have one myself. Yours is missing the ejector rod.

    So this is an atique or was it made in 1917? Is it not a Model 1889? Made for troops indicated by folding trigger. From the looks of the pictures, I'd also say it was missing a firing pin or some sort of piece that the hammer needs to strike....is that correct?

    It appears to be an Italian Modello 1889, Tipo A (model 1889 Type A). These pistols had a very long service history (still in limited use during WWII) and saw numerous variations. The date stamp would indicate that the pistol was produced in 1917 which of course precludes it from being an antique in this country.
