Best Gas piston upper for the AR platform?

Im asking everyone's opinion on what the best gas piston upper for the AR-15 platform is..My vote is for LWRC but they are very pricey....

  Why spend the money for adding something to the design? There are several very good gas piston 223/5.56 rifles out there that were designed with the piston to begin with ...
