Mossberg Model 695 12 ga bolt action
I'm brand spanking new to the forum guys and looking forward to some interesting reading.
I have an old 695 that I'm using as a project gun for making another gun that's not a bolt action, but I need some parts. Many of them were recalled. I need to know if there is a source for the original sear, trigger sear, firing pin and the nylon trigger housing that houses the fire control group. I've checked Numrich and Brownell and they do not have them. Does someone out there have an old non-servicable one sitting in a closet they are getting rid of or parting out? If it's a scrapper then cutting the receiver in three chunks (with internals removed to avoid damage) would mean that I wouldn't have to go thru the transfer process and can receive it as a parts set.
Or is there another Moss model that has the above interchangeable parts with the 695?
Also, Mossberg will not turn loose instructions on how to disassemble the bolt so I can replace the firing pin...anybody got an old tech manual laying around?

Thanks guys. I communicated with Victor and he couldn't help me unfortunatley. My assumption is that they won't sell those parts from a recalled firearm so my best hope is to see something on here. Thanks again. 0
