They are built on Spanish made, Santa Barbara, Mauser actions. Yours looks to be a early one, (60's?) because of the military type safety on the rear of the bolt. Later ones had side safeties and turned down bolt handles to make it easier to mount a scope. Their descent quality hunting rifles, just not going to be worth what a used Winchester or Remington would be. 0 -
I had a Parker Hale 7mm Mag.. The tip of the firing pin broke off (warranty) and the new firing pin came from Birmingham, England. Sold it, the recoil was brutal compared to my Ruger Model 77 in the same caliber. 0
