lyman sb tang sight for a 1885.

BERT, can i mount the lyman 103 sb tang sight on a 94 lever action? i have a 94 win.rifle in 38-55 in ex. condition that i would like to have a windage adjustment on. thanks eastbank.

  Yes... the base hole spacing is identical for the Models 1873, 1876, 1885, 1890, 1892, 1894, 1906, 53, 55, 64, and 65.

  I forgot to add... you will want to remove the barrel mounted rear sight and install a dovetail slot filler piece, as it will interfere with sighting it in with the tang sight. Another option is to replace the rear sight with a Lyman No. 6 folding sight.
