are DUCKS UNLIMITED rifles worth more
hi,,,i recently traded for a DUCKS UNLIMITED rifle in 22WMR,,,stainless with tru-glo front sights and what looks like a buckhorn rear sight,,,model #25mnss in pristine condition,,,is it worth any more and a value would be greatly appreciated,,,thank you

You might check the on-line auctions. It was made by Marlin. Don't know if that particular model is still in production though? Generally DU firearms don't have any value greater then the standard guns made by the same company without the DU markings.
EDIT #1, Condition of firearm and if it has been used, also has a great bearing on it value. Many folks who collect this type of limited production or specially marked guns, are only interested in the ones that are NIB with all original documents and accessories. Likely a DU marked firearm picked up off the used rack at your LGS isn't going to be worth a premium.0 -
Usually, any firearm that was made as a commerative for an organization/cause, other than to commemorate the manufacturer's cause/mile stone, are not worth any more than their contemporary counterparts. In otherwords, No...it is not worth much more, if any more, than the standard model made by Marlin.

Quick answer to the question, is no, barring exceptional cases, as a general rule guns marked "Ducks unlimited" will not be worth any more than similar unmarked guns in similar condition. 0 -
The same goes for other similiar marked guns such as RMEF, NWTH and others. IMO alot of the tribute guns are in the same pool however there are some that command a real premium. Mostly a crap shoot with the same odds. 0
