  I've seen that site but.....
  My serial number doesn't fall into the series they say it should.

  From the serial number it's Model 1911 infantry rifle.
  
  
  EDIT #1, Go to the site at the link below. Scroll to the bottom, it gives the serial number ranges for the different models of Swiss rifles. Model 1911 Infantry Rifles were in the 355,00 to 482,000 range

  My mistake. Serial number x had a diff twist rate than later numbers.
  Started at 350,000 and made 127,000 so up to 477,000 serial number.
