VN Era French "push pull" 12ga

I need some help identifying and learning more about this strange 12g shotgun.

So I got this from my father in law, he got it from a cousin when he died. The cousin got it from the solder who brought it back from the Vietnam War. I have the paper work from 1971 on it being brought back to the states as a war trophy.

It is a single shot 12g of French origin, manufactured by Rafale. It is serialized like crazy with the same SN in 6 different places, which makes it seem military to me. I hear the french were over there before we were.

It is a unique action design that I have never seen before and can't find any information online. To open the chamber you rotate the front of the stock 90 degrees clockwise and slide it forward about 2.5". If you then turn it counter clockwise 45 degrees you can then slide the barrel completely out of the receiver. It is kind of cool that you can break it down in half or re assemble in under a second.

There are also 2 disks on the back that you pull on to cock the hammer.

  DRP..your photography is good! In the future, Place a 'img' in the front of the photo, and a '/img' in the rear of each photo. Now, where you see my pips ('), substitute an [ and an ] bracket.   I can't find that proof mark. However the 65 most likely denotes 65MM the metric for 2&3/4 inch shells. In my opinion the fact that you have governmental letter would increase it's value maybe 3 times. I was in V.N. early and as enlisted personal we could not bring any captured weapons back unless on the sly. Many of these type of guns were hand made but yours appears Factory made Thanks for the pictures.
