  Probably a Carcano. Could be a Vetterli. Very off chance it's anything else.
  
  Edit: 7.35X51mm was Italy's 'new' round for the Carcano... which they dropped when war broke out due to inability to fully standardize it. So in practice the 7.35 and older 6.5 both saw use in WW2.
  
  The 7.35 is one of the few true .30 caliber rounds (vs. a .308). It has pretty decent ballistics and good potential for accuracy, just is a bit underutilized in the Carcano, a clunky action with horrible sights.

  Thanks, I saw the term Terni rifle in a 7.35 caliber and I had never heard the term " Terni Rifle nor had I heard of the caliber.

  Isn't that what Oswald is sposed to have used in Dallas? 3 shots, 85yds., 10 seconds? Downhill?

  No, he used a Carcano but in 6.5mm....powerful little round it its own right.
