45 acp sp vs lp primers
hello all was wondering about lp vs sp primers in the 45 acp. i thought they was all large until i ran across some federals and blasers that are small. is there a reason for this? or just so they dont have to change tooling? is one more reilible are acurate then the other.

I don't there is any good reason for the sp in a 45ACP. They play hell with the folks that run automatic machines. just my thoughts 0 -
They started using them in lead free ammo . This has been a subject here before. Yes if you know someone that tries to pick up your brass mix a few SP cases in with his brass he will thank you [;)][}:)]just a little bit if he uses a single station press but will love you if he has a Progressive unit like a Dillon 1050 with auto case feed. oR a Star. 0 -
I do NOT appreciate Sp's even with my Dillon 550! As previously started, they're used with the lead free bullets although I don't know why or of any pro/con because of it. I just know they're a royal PITA when they're mixed together at the reloading bench 0 -
All you fellers that hate the SPs so much, I'd be glad to take them off yer hands.[:D] 0 -

Id gladly offer you the same deal, but (luckily for me) I have only stumbled across 5 or so of those cases. They just went into the scrap brass box. 0 -
It's the thought that counts.[8D] 0
