Butt Plate for Marlin 36 Carbine (1947)

I have one of these that may not have the original butt plate. Would like to know what the original ones looked like. The one on the gun now looks like it came from a 60's version 336...It says Marlin inside an oblong circle. THANKS!!!

  i think(pretty sure) that would be the correct plate. i have seen the 2nd version of that model and noticed that the butt plate looked modern. hope this helps.
