winchester shotgun help

hello, I was wondering if the barrell off my winchester 1200 will work on my winchester 1400? could someone please help me. if it wont work, how come it wont?? thanks

  No.
  'Cause your 1200 is a pump and your 1400 is a gas operated auto and the pump barrel does not have a gas port to operate the automatic.

  Very simple. Was not made to work on the 1400.

  Haven't checked but I would would bet that there are barrels here on GB that would fit your needs[:)] Good luck.
