Silencers in Michigan

We are free at last to own silencers here in Michigan! My USP .45 Tactical has been waiting patiently for years for this news.

So there are a number of options now available for me; Osprey, Surefire, YHM, Knight, Ti-Rant,... the list goes on.

So who's the best? Have you guys compared these or others? Any opinions or advice would be appreciated.

  There are so many good suppressor manufacturers nowadays it is amazing.
  
  I am a Gemtech fan.
  
  Check the above 2 sites for lots of very good info.

  There do seem to be a lot of Gemtech fans out there. I'm kind of leaning toward the Knight's Armament. Their website claims a noise reduction of 38dB/28dB wet/dry. Those are the best numbers I can find. Gemtech, like most others, doesn't offer any specs so I can only assume that they can't beat Knight's.
  
  If anyone knows of a can that outperforms Knight's I'd love to hear about it.

  Check out silencer research on their 45 silencers...may cost a couple of buck...think it is $30 for a year of access.

  I've gone with the AAC Ti-RANT 45. They claim 30/41dB dry/wet.
  I e-mailed Gemtech and, for a USP .45, they said:
  
  Unsuppressed: 162.5 dB
  Suppressed (dry): 138.5 dB (-24.0 dB)
  Suppressed (wet): 125.4 dB (-37.0 dB)
  
  Gemtech seems to make a good, and very popular, product. I went with AAC based on the numbers.
