Synthetic Stock Care
I have a black synthetic stock that has scuff marks and would like to know if there is a way to clean up the marks. The stock is a smooth finish flat colored seventy dollar stock.

You might try a light bead blast with fine glass beads, but any sand paper, or abrasive pads, will leave tracks, that look worse than the dings in it. That is what synthetic stocks are for, to add character to that you don't want to add to a $1800.00 piece of exhibition grade wood.

A coat or two of Krylon Fusion will make it look new again , maybe even in a new color . 0 -

Clean it with dash cleaner.
I use Black Magic Natural Finish Protectant. It's for matte finished leather or vinyl car interiors. I find it works very well on synthetic stocks.0
