AK-47 and clones

I am seriously looking for a reliable plinker in some sort of AK-47 type wrap. Wondering if anybody has experience with the Romanian Underfolder that J&G offers? Or would anybody have other suggestions?

  AKs are hard to get wrong to the point of them not firing. The biggest things to look for are canted front sights and sloppy mag wells on stamped receivers.

  There is always room for a good AK-47, but what constitutes a good AK-47?
  
  Those you mention, if I am not mistaken, are ones put together either by Hesse/Blackthorn/Vulcan, or Century Arms. Yes, while it is hard to make an AK not function, it is real easy to have one put together so badly, that you want to dump it(usually at a loss), and get a better one.
  
  That being said, I would look for a nicer one , and yes, you might pay more, but it will be one that has been built well. I usually recommend the ones made by Arsenal USA, either in the stamped reciever, or the milled reciever version. You might also find a nice SLR 95 floating around on the auction side. Those are milled, and very well built.

  It is a Bulgarian made, and imported I believe by Arsenal, milled reciever. They are almost as smooth as the Poly Tech Legends, and very accurate bor an AK.

  I just read about a new AK 47 and AK74 from Interarms that is supposed to be much better than the WASR 10's and such. I have not handled one yet, but our local dealer will be getting the first shipment next week. They are going for $550 and the reviews I read are good.

  You want the one in my signature post line a Bulgarian SLR95 with a milled receiver but they are pricey.
