Anyone know where you can get 401 brass or how you could form it?

You'd still need the .401 loading dies... I think.
Buffalo Arms has CH dies in .401 for $78, still a lot.
I agree, you could probably flange something up with a cheap set of Lee 10mm dies. But I would only do it if I already had the gun, I would not buy an orphan like that unless maybe at a giveaway price.0 -

I was thinking 10 mm dies might figure in a way to be used to reload the 401. You may find this article interesting:
