how do I find an approx value of a stainless steel Ruger #1 22-250 with a synthetic stock and a bull barrel? It also has a Nicon scope. Any help greatly appreciated.

  One mans 98% is anothers 90% or 85% etc without pics--there is a sticky on the front page on how to post pics. Do you still have the orginal box & paperwork(collectors like to know and it can help with the price sometimes). Neither rifle is rare as Ruger still offers both of those calibers in the #1 RSI. Having said that you should be able to get $700 and up for either one to the right buyer. You should look at the completed auctions(do an advanced search) to get a better idea of where they sell for--not just what folks are asking for with some of the blue sky asking prices. Suprisingly some sold for even less than $700.
