globe sight assembly & parts

My used globe sight with adjustable windage and spirit level is unstable-it slides a little on its own. I think that it is assembled incorrectly. I can not find a drawing or an exploded view of one. I imagine that the screw movement is similar in all brands- this one is I believe a Pedersoli. I bought the gun it is attached to here at gun-broker.
Can anyone inform me as to how it should be assembled and/or point the way to an exploded view of the sight?.

  To better serve you, we will need a little more information on what you offered. Like the make, and model, or if you don't know, then some very sharp, in focus photo's will work also., and most likely will be the best at letting us see what you have going on.

  Most anything that has a screw and a nut will have some movement or FREE PLAY. Unless one or the other is spring loaded in one direction or there is some way to lock one part in relationship with the other. The quality of sights will be determined by HOW MUCH free play. Quality sights will have very little and those of lesser quality will have much greater amounts. Some sights have a nut that is split with one side moveable so that you can take out most of the free play. If there was no free play the parts would bind and you could not move them. In my opinion Pistol sights need the least amount of free play because the closer the front and rear sight is to each other the more the P.O.I. will move with say a .005 movement of the sight. on a rifle for instance with a tang mounted sight and 30 inch barrel.Sights 36 inches apart .005 movement would result in 1/6 the movement of the P.O.I. then a pistol with sights 6 inches apart.
