scope recomendation for SRH

Just got my new SRH in 44mag.
What scopes do you folks recomend for the SRH and what power?

  Hi Ed,
  
  I strongly recommend the Burris brand. They are the top end in handgun scopes, period. By that, I mean they are the best, barring no one, especially Leupold.
  
  I suggest a variable, and depending on what ranges you wish to shoot, to go with the 2-7x. If 7 is not enough on the top end, then the 3-12 is the ticket.

  Although my experience is limited to rifle scopes instead of pistols, I will add another vote for burris. The one I own is my favorite of all my scopes. No question
