308 brass ID

I found a few pieces of military 308 brass at the range yesterday with some unfamiliar markings. They are marked RG and have a circle with an X inside. The date is 85. The crimped-in primers are sealed with a red sealer. I'm just curious since I've not seen these markings and would like to know the manufacturer. Thanks for any help anyone may offer.

  British military much like our LC. Radway Green.

  The circle with the X in it is the NATO acceptance/contract headstamp. I always thought of it as a set of crosshairs. Much of radways stuff is corrosive, as I recall.
