AR?

OK, I'm not an AR person. But I was looking at uppers and I see some that say full auto bolt carrier group. How do you tell full auto BCG from a standard? THANKS

  The rear-bottom for a full auto BCG is longer than a semi.
  My Bushmaster came from them with the M-16 BCG.
  As far as I know it is the only M-16 part that ATF doesn't care if it's in a AR.
  Put M16 bolt carrier in the search-above right. There are five posts on them.

  The top carrier is from a Colt Match Target rifle, middle from a Bushmaster AR and the bottom is an M16 carrier. You can easily see the differences in dimensions at the rear of the carrier.
  
  At one time M16 carriers were prohibited for sue in semi auto rifles but the BATFE changed it's policy a few years ago and they are quite common now.

  Keep in mind that the other M16 component parts are still prohibited for use in semi automatic rifles.
