was wondering if anyone could help me with the value of my savage model 110 7mm mag, good shape, wood stock with cheak pad. front and rear sight! any help would be very appricated! thx

  i have a marlin 336 44magnum lever action with micro groove barrel. gun digest says there are 2823 rifles made between 1963-1964,youtube shows one with hoop on front sight and no saddle ring mine is opposite it has saddle ring and no front hoop.looking for help on its value,good condition,and good shooter. thanks,tim

  Rugers are common guns on the on-line auctions. Check them out for a ballpark value. Don't pay any attention to the pipedream asking prices some of the folks are trying to get, just the actual selling prices.
  
  Keep in mind, things are tough now money wise for lots of folks. Your going to have to be flexible, if you want to cash out on it fairly rapidly, to get your 1911.

  ditto with Knifecollector. As Rufe says, times are tough and being a bit "flexible" might get you a sale. Not much of a market for these older Rugers as there are lots of this model at there....including a couple in my gunsafe! Good luck....I like your thinking...can't miss with a 1911[^]

  Actual selling prices are between $250-275..

  I'd love to have a dozen of these at $250. Its been years since I saw one sell for less than $300. It may be a regional thing though, and the prices you quote hold true for your area.

  I'd keep the Ruger and just save up for the 1911. I mean if you paid for her new you'd get soaked on the re-sale. Unless the Ruger has issues and you want to get rid of her.

  Had $299 on a couple nice ones in the shop over the last 6 months. Got $275 for one and took $250 for the other.

  Thanks for the replies. I bought this gun about seven years ago for $200 from a friend of mine who needed the money. I have offered it to him for what I paid for it and he does not need/want it.
