steel cases
I have some .223 and 8mm steel cases. Wolf and Yugo receptively. Can these be reloaded as easily as brass? More trouble?

The short answer is yes they are reloadable, watch for berdan primers. They will not last as long as brass. I wouldn't reload them and I wouldn't throw them away either. 0 -
If they were the last empty cases on Earth, I might try. Until then, no. 0 -
IF they are berdan then no way (damn near impossble to find primers), if boxed primed then yes (use lots of case lube, or imperial sizing wax). Back in the day I had some .30/06 usgi steel cases, loaded them a bunch just to see how long they would last.......almost 20 loadings. 0 -

I agree with that notion.
Every rifle that I have or have had has more than enough brass available to preclude me ever stooping to reloading steel cases any time soon. [:(] [;)] [^]0 -
