Help Identifying These 2 Guns

Can anyone identify either of these?

  Both look like "Frankenguns" to me, with mismatched fore and aft parts:
  
  Rear half of first one from a cheap Leman percussion trade gun, front half unknown barrel with nipple screwed directly into breech with no bolster. EDIT: On 2nd look at closeup of right side, believe it originally had a bar action lock, replaced with the Leman back action lock with some wood spliced in and original bolster hole in barrel plugged.
  
  Rear half of 2nd one from a Sharps New Model carbine, front half longer replacement barrel, with added ramrod and thimbles.
  
  Indian conversions maybe? [;)]

  Just noticed these mongrels have been discussed here three times before, once in 2007 and twice in 2008. Nice to see that others agree with my "Frankenguns" assessment!

  I gather the weight keeps hoping someone will say they are very rare and worth a fortune. I don't think the answers are going to change.

  hrf - thanks for finding those links!!! I remember asking several years ago for a friend but wasn't sure it was this site. I could not find anything in the archives (probably didn't look correctly) and due to several hard drive crashes didn't have the answers saved on my PC anymore.
