12 ga SKB SxS Gunsmith
My older SKB is showing signs of usage (opening lever to left) and could benefit of some tightening of the action... Any smith that works on SKB's? Thanks...

I had to look through three books before I found a reference to SKB. Found it in the Official Price Guide To Antique And Modern Firearms. SKB shotguns are imported from Japan. There are 12 double barrels listed (and I assume that's what you have) and four self loaders. There is no mention of who imported the guns. Al I can suggest is you look in the yellow pages for gun smiths and contact one who will work on old doubles. 0 -
These were for some years imported by Ithaca as their models 100, 200 and 280- but that was before Ithaca went out of business for a while. they were still available new in the '80s. 0 -
Thank you both for your advice. I guess that any gunsmith capable of working on double (SXS) shotguns should be able to do this. SKB's should not be very different from Brownings or other SXS's 0 -
