Can I ship a Atchisson .22 cal. conversion kit for an AR15 Internationally? namely to Austria?

IMHO, not worth the hassle of having problems with the feds. Any type of firearms parts no matter how innocuous are suspect to them.
There are FFL dealers who specialize in overseas shipping. If the person in Austria wants the conversion unit badly enough he will spring for the fees that the FFL will charge. That is if it is even legal to ship a conversion unit to Austria, which the dealer will be aware of.0 -

EDIT: I worry about some of you guys. Why would you recommend that anyone deliberately violate provisions of the Arms Export Control Act, punishable by a $1,000,000 fine &/or 10 years in federal prison? For what? To make an extra $50 on a sale? To do a favor for someone you don't even know to save him $200? Does that make sense?0 -

Can you? Of course.

Maybe. . .don't know, but there is quite likely to be a lot of hassle and/or expense involved.
Note that a .22 conversion isn't actually a firearm. That helps, but as mentioned, firearm PARTS are still regulated, and if you want the thing to actually arrive OK, they're going to be subject to both US export and Austrian import laws.
I'm not even going to try and guess what the Austrian import laws are. If you really want to do this, as Neal said, your best bet is to talk to someone who does it for a living.0 -
Below is a link to some international import/export houses. Call the USA based ones, and confer with them. If they say it's Okay, get with the seller, and tell the seller you will be shipping to [whatever import/export house you choose], and they will act the middleman, so they will continue with the shipping process to Austria.
You must find out the export house's fees, and get them up-front from the buyer prior to shipping to the exporter, as you will have to pay said fees.

You have noticed that you will need this 'n that as posted further up this string. Don't worry about that. If it's Okay to ship, the exporter will be jumping through all the legal hoops for you.

You could probably ship the conversion parts themselves as machine parts, but I doubt if you could get the magazine past the inspectors. Then again they don't inspect every package, but as others have said your taking a chance. 0 -
completely and totally disassemble it , ship one piece at a time at receivers expense.
