Remington New 22 Repeater/Model 12

I have a Remington Pre-Model 12 that is in the 344xxx serial number range. Can anyone give me an idea of the manufacture year? Also when did Remington start marking them as a Model 12? Thanks

  The Blue Book of Gun Values say 1909 for marked model 12. If you look at the sticky above it will explain the date code used by Remington. As a side note I didn't enjoy the model 12 but the 121 is just dandy.
