What is a fair value of a really decent shape (no box) Ruger Hawkeye. 256 pistol.

  Have you checked recent auctions? If I found one around here for a grand I'd likely buy it. Wouldn't be surprised to see one for twice that, but I'd have to pass.
  
  And then, of course, there's the ever present and still valid request:
  Lots of good close-up photos before some will even venture a SWAG.
  
  ap, I'm not seeing that many listings for Hawkeyes but the few that are there suggest that least in terms of asking price, my suggestions may not be unrealistic. Hope you're not being confused by the dozens of Hawkeye rifles listed.[:D][:D]
