Mauser Rifle ???

OK,
another brain fart ?

A swedish 6.5 in very good cond. , nothing broke ? all appears ok and correct , Yet , when fired , firing pin will NOT hit the primer ?
Thoughts?

  If the firing pin is "correct" for this model Mauser AND has not been filed/ground shorter then perhaps there is something inside the bolt body that has the shoulder of firing pin stopping up short against it. Take bolt apart, remove mainspring then see if you can make pin protrude thru bolt face. Or maybe mainspring is weak/broken too........

  Anything inside the bolt body that stops the pin coming out? Something contacting the shoulder of firing pin not allowing full movement forward?
