Cleaning Shotgun Hulls?

Anyone have a method to clean powder residue off shotgun hulls before or after reloading?
Anything easier than windex and a rag?

  A mesh bag and dishwasher or washing machine, BEFORE, loading works. If you can get your wife to let you [;)][:)]

  Hot water with laundry detergent in the sink or bathtub works for me. I stir them around then rinse them well. They clean up pretty well. I used to dry them on a towel in the sun until I started missing hulls and realized the scrub Jays were making of with a few! Found several in my gutters when I was cleaning them out.

  In my experience the look does nothing one way or the other performance wise. It is a shotshell hull

  You can get pretty dirty hands after shooting
  4 or 5 rounds of trap.
