Disassembling an Encore
What is the best position to have an Encore in when removing the hinge pin?
I have been laying the gun on my bench with the action over the edge so I can drive the pin out, but this seems clunky and most of the time the hinge pin ends up on the floor.
I figure there must be a better way.

Get yourself a couple 1 foot chunks of 2x4, and add some carpet to it. Then lay your Encore on that ON your bench, and the pin will be on the bench.
