to ship an Inglis Hi-Power magazine to Australia???

12/13 round magazine

should I go to the post office or call ATF???

  In my opinion you are on very thin Ice shipping any gun parts out of the country . tell the buyer you will ship to any address in the U.S.A. and then this person can ship to the buyer in AUSTRALIA. You would need to know all the laws pertaining to fire arms in both countries and also go through CUSTOMS in both countries. My advice don't ship out of the country yourself.

  Actually, exports of firearms & related "defense" materials are under the purview of the US Dept of State; ATF is only concerned with imports.
  
  I agree with Perry Shooter that you should decline this request. At the least, your package will be confiscated, &, at the worst, you could face federal charges.
  
  Serious collectors in other countries who seek firearms & related material in the US retain a "US agent", who will have an FFL & be a licensed exporter. I have sold items that way; by shipping to an FFL in the US, I have zero risk.

  Check on the USPS website, they will have a general list of what you can't ship to most countries.
