    I opened mine and was stunned. There were 1/32-inch long pieces of Polish mystery crud in plain view. Thorough cleaniong is a must. Take it apart slowly; putting it back together isn't complicated.

    The receiver wasn't made in Poland, but in the US. Because it was a selective fire firearm it, ( the receiver ), couldn't be imported into the US. All the legal importable parts were assembled with enough US made parts to make it legal.

    Pretty sure these semi-auto PPS-43C's are made in Poland, not in USA.

    I assume that the complete gun is imported.
    I opened and cleaned mine. It was not too bad, but a good cleanibg helped smooth the action a lot. I learned that a laser sight adjustment is very sensitive.
