age of winchester 94 - 30/30

I am looking for the age of a Winchester model 94, serial #4535173. Gun is in mint condition, it was a gift. Can anyone help me learn the age of it? Thanks.

  With a serial number that high, it is definately a post 63 gun. Most likely it was made sometime in the early 1990's. A call to WEinchester would help you.

  It was manufactured in the latter part of the 1970s. Winchester reached serial number 5,000,000 just before they sold out to the U.S. Repeating Arms Co. (USRACo) in January of 1981.
