Black Powder Rifle
I am looking for information on a rifle I saw the other day. It was a breech loading Falling block black powder rifle. The shooter took a paper cartridge with the powder and bullet, inserted it in the breech, and when you closed the action, it cut off part of the paper cartridge to expose the charge.
Can you tell me what kind of rifle and what caliber operated in a like manner?
Any help will be greatly appreciated.[:D]

I have a car. The only markings on it are "Ford." What is it?
See how vague that is?
I don't mean to poke jest at your topic, but as said, we need MUCH more info. Photos are best, but overall dimensions, percussion or flintlock, overall condition, etc. are important. Even a rough estimation of bore diameter made with a ruler would help.
Tips on photos: Take in outdoor light without a flash, using the macro option on the camera for closeups. Use a tripod if possible. Take against a solid light colored background such as a sheet. Use the info in the sticky on the main ask the experts page to find out how to post.
